I know how to create a cache page with plain php, for instance,

You can create a cache file similiarly the way you created in plain php.There is no need to do extra effort for slim3.
I'm using the same, Slim-3 framework, but I'm using the caching as a middleware:

inside that Class, you can add your methods:
