关于maven依赖报红问题

请教下，在引入spring boot依赖后，springboot中存在版本号配置，为什么引入的依赖在没有手动引入版本号的情况戏会报红？把springboot中的依赖版本号加上就好了？
maven依赖：

    <parent>
        <groupId>org.springframework.boot</groupId>
        <artifactId>spring-boot-starter-parent</artifactId>
        <version>2.2.11.RELEASE</version>
        <relativePath/> <!-- lookup parent from repository -->
    </parent>

报红依赖：

     <build>
        <plugins>
            <plugin>
                <groupId>org.springframework.boot</groupId>
                <artifactId>spring-boot-maven-plugin</artifactId>
            </plugin>
        </plugins>
    </build>

有一些插件自身是不跟随根pom的版本走的，为了保持使用时的兼容性，最好加上
