who shares its space with kernel stack?

In my mind, I think the task_struct shares two pages with kernel stack. But in thread_info, I see this in kernel 2.6.24

 1499 union thread_union {
1500         struct thread_info thread_info;
1501         unsigned long stack[THREAD_SIZE/sizeof(long)];
1502 };

Is this charing in the version before 2.6.24?
